I caught the end of a CNN news program and they are really backpeddling on their coverage of the Tea Parties!! They are now "trying to understand" what the people were protesting. I had to laugh out loud:D They are suppose to have more coverage about the tea parties tomorrow (little to late, if you ask me). During the interviews with some people (can't remember their names) they lost the satellite feed for two of them (supporters of tea parties) and the CNN anchor made sure that they got them back on the show before it was over so that the viewers "would not think they cut them off on purpose". Boy a guess the ratings have really hit them where it hurts;)
While watching I came up with this:
Term limits
Effective tax reform
Adherence to the USA Constitution
Politians (R&D) LISTEN:
Americans want less spending, a
Return to the Constitution
Tax reform, term limits and
You out of office!

Oh man! I love your Tea Party thing. Great job!
Wish I had more room for a sig with that! Might see if we can come up with a graphic for it or something. Anyone got Photoshop??

Donald Trump was on Larry King this week (rerun tonight) and I watched to see what Trump had to say about the economy. Larry actually asks Trump what he thought about the tea parties! Trump said that he totally sees where we are coming from...Spending billions of dollars is eventually going to lead to an increase in taxes (wow, we figured that out and we're not even millionares!). He basically said that the government needed to cautious in how much money they are spending, because our country is in a very troubling time. It was a good interview:)
Thanks Cyneca for the kind words on my Tea Party signage...Anyone is welcome to use it :)

I have been so fed up with the MSM that their coverage of the tea parties has caused me to block CNN and especially MSNBC from my cable system. May not do any good but I believe that the cable companies can tell what you are watching.

Great post! :D I'm sure the ratings have hit them. But, it may also have something to do with the calls and letters being sent to their sponsors. I know there is a huge push in other online communities to let their sponsors know just how disappointed we are with a few of the major slanted media sources. A lesson learned from the tactics of others. ;)
There is a thread somewhere on here that has a link to all the sponsors just for that purpose.
Nice to see you here Trent!

Dave, I owe you an apology for not being more active in here. I have just been swamped between work, keeping the Mrs. happy, and keeping up with everything to do with the 912 project. Whew! It's been a busy few weeks, as I'm sure you are well aware. ;) Glad to see the forum is getting some good activity now.

No worries, we have all been doing what we can, when we can.

Thank you for the help with that information. I have incorporated it into a blog that I have just finished and provided a link back to her thorough list of sponsors. Make sure you watch the last video on this blog. It will give you goose bumps and the feeling of hope!:D

Great; I passed the sponsor letter and list on, without them a channel cannot survive.

I believe this is the key to this whole "movement". Hit them where it hurts. Their wallets. These news organizations may half progressive beliefs, but you start putting pressure on their sponsors and they start thinking more capitalistic. HMM Go figure...

I'm not one for Boycotts but I am one for voting with my money. I stumbled on CNN while channel surfing last night and caught them trying to put forth a balanced view about the Tea Parties. Trying is the keyword and it wasn't much of an attempt. Had to laugh!

Having been a Neilson family in the past, I learned a couple of things and one is that yes, the cable co. does know which channels are blocked out so if everybody blocks them there is no reason to keep them on. C.N.N and MSNBC are not going to go under or change their ways as they are both financed by way left individuals trying to push their agenda although we can get the sponsors to take away their ad dollars thereby making it more painful to keep broadcasting. It amazes me to think that these people actually think that intelligent adults find their sophomoric jabs even a little convincing. By the way, I wonder what we are all being distracted away from now with all the Obama crying about the torture of prisoners.? What are they planning in the background.? As for me, being a veteran, If the terrorist had blown up a milirary installation I might have a bit more sympathy but, they intentionally attacked a facility w/ civilians and children inside and frankly I think they have gotten off light. Well thats enough ranting for now.

I have been asking myself this for the past couple of weeks. Doing as much digging as I can to try to figure out what they are sneaking past.
The problem is that they are cramming so much down our throats at one time that it is nearly impossible to keep up with all of it.
