Good Morning Ladies and Gents,
Ran across this on the (yep you guessed it) 10th Amendment Center site. Think about it, our country is as divided as ever on a myriad of social, political, and economic issues. What if DC were knocked down to Constitutional Size, and states were allowed to pursue their own policies (especially regarding the most controversial issues of our time)? A small "r" republic could be created in more conservative states, meanwhile a veritable progressive utopia could be created in more liberal states. We could a sit back and watch progressive states go bankrupt one after another and say "I told you so." The main issue is that those of us opposed would not have to finance their utopian agenda. Sounds pretty darn good to me. Anyhow, kindly check out the following: http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2010/03/should-liberals-champion-states-rights/
Instead of the great many being miserable at the expense of a select few, we could all do our own thing. Globalists beware. The sum of the parts is much greater than the whole.
Cheers,
JT
