Governor Palin to Join Representative Bachmann on the Campaign Trail
U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06) announced today that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will come to Minnesota to assist Bachmann's re-election campaign on April 7, 2010.

"There is absolutely no one more in tune with the hearts and minds of everyday Americans than Governor Palin, and I'm excited to welcome her back to our beautiful state this spring," Bachmann said.

Both Governor Palin and Congresswoman Bachmann are well-known and respected conservative leaders whose bold and unwavering stances in defending the U.S. Constitution and commonsense approaches to issues like health care, taxes and government bailouts have attracted millions to their message.

"It didn't take the American people long to see through the extreme liberal agenda of President Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress," Bachmann said. "We saw American's frustration start in the form of tea party protests in states from coast to coast. It continued with the health care town halls throughout last summer. But we saw it come into full focus yesterday in conservative Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts, taking back a Senate seat that was held by Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy for decades. The American people have spoken, and the momentum is clearly at the backs of conservatives heading into the 2010 elections."

Details about Governor Palin's visit will be released as they become available. In the coming weeks, please visit www.michelebachmann.com for more information.

I also saw that she was making some appearances with John McCain in Arizona. If that's the case I for one will never trust her again. Someone please tell me I am wrong. I love Michelle Bachman but as I've stated before, ALL encumbents must go. If she is serving now, she is tainted and can not be trusted unless she has NEVER taken any campaign funds from ANY lobbyists at any time. I doubt it and so she must go because that makes her part of the problem. Go to www.Icaucus.com and see how things really work.

I was surprised and disappointed at first, too. Then I tried to imagine myself in Sarah's shoes. To be honest, I'd feel obligated to repay John McCain. However, I'd campaign for him as little as possible.

Foods for thoughts regarding Michelle Bachmann: I have not taken the time to do research yet so I can only offer some comments----- Based on my observation (so far), she has been a good representative as well as honorable. Plus, I think she entered in Congress two years ago and it's her first term. I do not recall reading or hearing about Michelle being "owned" by any lobbyists or special interests (unless it's the type that benefits all constitiuents). So, I personally would NOT rule her out. Again, I have not taken the time to do research on Michelle and it is based on my limited knowledge/observation.

Hokie not all of the incumbents must go!! WE have a few good ones in there. I will stand by my representative til hell freezes over!! Tom Coburn is a hell of a man and believes in this country with his heart and soul!! I know ive met the man and spoke with him. He hates obama and what he and his cronies are trying to do!!
Now as far as Plain is concerned, im sick and tired of people bashing her because shes helping Mccain out. For gods sake they are friends and she said that when she left her governorship that she was going to start speaking out and helping those she thinks needs to be helped. Now i for one would never vote for a progressive and that's what McCain is. Sarah is doing just what she needs to be doing right now. getting out there, letting people get to know her and getting her ducks lined up. Lets not be so fast to judge Sarah! AS i said by her joining fox and helping out with others in their campaigns is just what she needs to do!! Who else do we have to pin our hopes on for2012?? Don't say Ron paul either!!

Ben- I understand how you feel, I Have a Congressman that I like here in Pennsylvania also. What I am saying however is that ALL of sitting representatives that are currently in office are ALL culpable as to the mess that they have created. The entire system is broken and needs to be completely flushed out. They are all either part of the problem or complicit in not fixing it. They ALL feed out of the same trough because that is the only way to get anything done. I used to feel like you do about my Congressman too because I believe him to be an "honest" man also. After rethinking my position I came to realize that he "brokered" different legislation to get himself re-elected so he can stand for "the greater good". I quickly realized there is no greater good! All they want to do is spend money and get re-elected. Ask yourself why if every politician agrees that Washington is broke, why none of them will fix it? I suggest to you that the only difference between your guy and the other guy is the bacon he is able to bring home is the flavor you happen to enjoy. Think about it Ben, what difference is there between Socialist A and Socialist B? I defy you to name me even one politician that has consistently voted for legislation that is in complete compliance with the Constitution of the United States. If they haven't done that then I submit to you that they are part of the problem and therefore unable to be part of the solution. If you have a house full f rats next door to you and one bites your child, it's time to burn down the house not spare vegetarian rats because they don't eat meat. Take time to think it through and you'll see. We can not tolerate professional politicians any longer, there must be term limits of some sort either voluntarily or mandatory. Sorry...I just fell off my soapbox!
