1. We cannot afford it, period end of story.

2. Gonv can do many things to help bring cost down, why not do some of those things now. Like have ins comp, compete across state lines. One of many examples.

3.Its not about health care at all. Its about gonv getting control our lives.

As for why I want reform----I am sick and tired of capitalism that is NOT TRUE capitalism. Insurance companies are not true capitalists in that they are not regulated nor constructed in such a manner that true capitalism weans out bad companies in the true open market

If any business is as corrupt and incompetent as insurance companies, they are beaten in the market place by competent and ethical companies in the long run. But if there is no competition or in this scenario not enough to make a capitalistic model, a company is free to be as incompetent and dare I say evil as they want to be since there are no consequences for them

As bad as govt has been in the past, I will take my chances any day with them over these insurance companies. At least with govt, I can choose to elect different people every 2-4 years.

In an attempt to clarify what you said, (some newbies may not understand iggy), the word is ignore.

I have had both jake7413 and ConcernedCanuk on ignore for some time now.

To place someone on your ignore list go to your USER CP page (very top left of this or any page) scroll down the control panel (left side) to Edit Ignore List and add any forum member's name you want to ignore. This will prevent the body of the person's post from showing. You will still see that they posted, and if anyone not on your ignore list quotes them, you will see everything they quoted.

This is a great way to not be subjected to reading the posts of trolls (people who post merely to get a reaction) and of those who upset you with their posts.

I encourage anyone who is a socialist, marxist, totalitarian, Leninist, Stalinist, and or communist loving member to add me to their ignore list. This goes also for those who are anti-American or just general trolls even though you may claim to be conservative yet voted for President OhBlahblah. Oh, and that also goes for you RINO types too.

The reason I encourage you to add me to your ignore list if you fall into one these categories is because there is no doubt in my mind that I will offend you at one time or another. After all, that is my intent. I for one have no interest in wasting my breath on educating a moron. I have no desire to try to demonstrate why these ideals are wrong using logic and sound facts when the idiot I am speaking with is incapable of thinking, rather they use emotion to guide their every decision. I have no interest conversing with those that want to shove today's new flavor of political correctness down my throat.
