My son will be attending a 1-week course at Patrick Henry College (sometimes called the Harvard of Homeschoolers) in Purcellville, VA in a couple of weeks.
He went to the same camp last year and had a blast and learned a lot.
Some of the stuff they do:
The kids all have aliases and fake identities - they attend camp as someone other than themselves, complete with background info, etc. Part of their challenge is to keep their true identities secret.
They get lectures from members of the intelligence community.
They do "red cell / blue cell" exercises where one team plans an act of terrorism and the other team has to plan prevention against any acts of terrorism.
They learn how to survive an intense interrogation.
-- Just thought some of you might find that interesting.
